JOHN PREVITI
Director

John has extensive experience in taxation, superannuation and business development. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University majoring in Accounting and Taxation. John has completed the Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants SMSF Accreditation Course from the University of NSW.
John is a customer-focused accountant committed to providing excellent service to his clients, developing strong business relationships and ensuring all client calls are returned on the same day.
Everybody wants to legally reduce the amount of tax they are required to pay. John specialises in developing strategies to reduce the tax our client's pay using business structures such as companies, trusts and Self Managed Superannuation Funds.
Changes to the superannuation rules have provided significant opportunities to establish tax-free retirement incomes. Through his postgraduate studies and constant professional development, John has a strong understanding of Self Managed Superannuation Funds and "thinks outside the square" to develop strategies to suit our client's needs.
John is also the Director of WMP Tax, a boutique finance broking firm that specialises in helping business owners get the best deal for their home or business loans. We also can assist with car and equipment finance, ensuring our clients structure their finance in a way to maximise their tax deductions.
In his spare time, John enjoys being a member of the West Coast Eagles, boating and spending time with his family.
SHARON YUJNOVICH
Senior Associate
Sharon commenced working at WMP Tax in February 1995. Prior to joining WMP Tax she completed an Associate Diploma of Business. Sharon's role at WMP Tax is to manage our client's needs with all aspects of their business requirements including the preparation of financial statements, income tax returns and business activity statements. Sharon supervises and mentors our team of accountants.
Sharon is also a qualified dance teacher and is involved in the family horse racing business.
COREY WATSON
Accountant
Corey is one of WMP Taxs' Accountants and is always hard at work in the office managing our client portfolio . With a Bachelor of Business and Cert IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking, Corey is currently studying his Chartered Accountant Diploma. He is a wealth of knowledge and is always available to assist over the phone with Client tax and financial enquiries.
In his down time he enjoys the outdoors, camping, 4 wheel driving and a wide range of sports.
LAURA HANCOCK
Client Service Assistant
Laura joined WMP Tax in January 2011. She is responsible for liaising with clients, tax payments and Australian Taxation Office negotiations.
With over 10 years' experience working within accounting firms Laura has developed proficient administration skills perfect for assisting with client's needs.
Laura loves spending time with her daughter, husband and friends and is also a qualified dance teacher.
ELENA BURNS
Bookkeeper - Company Accountant
Elena joined WMP Tax in June 2010 as an accountant.
Elena has completed accounting studies at TAFE and further education with the Taxation Institute of Australia. Elena specialises in dealing with small business clients, assisting them with their tax, GST and MYOB issues.
In Elena's spare time she loves going bike riding along the beach with her husband and kids.
LEIGH WRIGHT
Client Service Assistant
Leigh joined WMP Tax in March 2019, working part time to assist Laura and Elena with administrative and financial duties. Leigh is currently studying a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping.
With over 20 years administrative and customer service experience, Leigh is looking forward to being able to put into practice her new skills within WMP Tax.
When Leigh is not studying or working, she is managing a family of five and enjoys spending time gardening in the sunshine with her husband and walking her two dogs.
